What is the difference between Blackpool Football team,and a bacon sandwich.

Anyone can beat Blackpool but you can't beat a bacon sandwich.

I actually thought that the Blackpool team from a couple of years ago - under Ian Holloway, were pretty good. Feisty, beating the big teams, fighting for Premier League survival, and thought it was a shame they didn't get it.

Feisty, yes, but the only 'big team' they beat was Liverpool. They took a hiding off most of the others. The North East was a happy hunting ground for them though.

As for Holloway, he should concentrate more on being a manager and less on the witty quotes.
