Any Bowie fans out there?

... (I've always thought Bowie was a pretentious twat I'm afraid.)

So did I, and my pal who spent five or six weeks working with him. My pal was most taken aback at how normal he was... claiming he wasn't even 'cool', just an approachable bloke.

I loved David Bowie from around the time Life On Mars came out to Heroes, and i've never been very keen on anything since then.

Bowie? Yes he had a bit of success in the 70s but nothing of note for 30 years.

140 million albums of a bit of success. Tough crowd!

Musical icon. Some of his stuffs not for me but there can be no doubting the dudes talent and ability. I particularly like the work he's done with Trent Reznor.

Looking back it with the diverse culture of today he may seem almost ordinary, but at the time in the 70's what he did was ground breaking, he is a huge icon who has influenced so many others.
