Not sure if I remember anyone being into fishing but...

I ordered something last week from an angling website (a head torch actually) and in the box when it came was a free carp fishing DVD - "Tips, Tactics and Tackle", I think it's called. Would it be of any use to anyone before I consign it to bird scaring duties on the allotment? PM me if you want it, first come first served etc.

    And it's about fishing?

More like something *adult* and *educational*

I assumed you'd made a typo when I first read that. It was definitely a "carp" fishing DVD?

I'm guessing not many fisherfolk then. Or people who know fisherfolk?

    Yes, I definitely mean carp...

Carp fishermen know it all already - they tend to be the fanatics of the fishing world.

When my son was young he got heavily interested in carp fishing so I had to accompany him and fall asleep at my rod for an hour or two. So bluddy boring......

There's a prog on Sky Extra every so often called Extreme Carp Fishing - the mind boggles!

  8. I'm far too squeamish to be a fishing person but I do a mighty fine fish impression...

Kirstie, do you want to edit your post before one of the more vulgar males happens by?

  12. No not particularly...in any case I'll let you all stew in your vulgarity safe in the knowledge that my post refers to something which is not in any way rude, and by and large plain silly.
