Mother’s ruin. Haven’t had Gin for ages but devaluation of the currency here means I can buy a litre of Gordon’s for six quid . A G&T is rather nice and fresh orange juice as a mixer is also good. Doesn’t work so well with coconut juice. Any other suggestions? I pour it over ice cream which is rather stunning.
what about these flavoured gins, has anybody tried them?

1) drink 1/5 of your gin
2) fill the bottle back up with a dry vermouth of your choice
3) close lid and shake
4) put bottle in freezer
5) wait
6) pour small measures and drink

Flavoured gins are very nice. Blood orange or parma violet is one of my favourites. I can also recommend small batch distillers like Stockport Gin, Manchester Gin etc.

I've tried loads of gins over the years and Tanqueray Rangpur is still my favourite.

I've only really tried gin in recent years, but with a good tonic, you've got to be careful as you can't half get piddled on it ! Some are lovely.

I bought my Mrs Sipsmith's Berry flavour for Valentines (flowers wouldn't have survived a ride in my panniers). We've a great local distillers too, but that's a 'special' gin.

A mediteranian tonic with blood orange gin is lovely (Whitley Neill)

We've a York Gin bottle that's been engraved for a wedding anniversary - sadly the gin is gone - need to get more.

Tanqueray Export for me please.
Edinburgh seaside and Harris are fun smaller distilleries.
Liquorice tooth Ginger Ninja is a good flavoured gin.
