Must be just you who's shoot, Paul!

Too right

Golf is excellant. There's a unique pleasure in hitting a perfect golf shot

I suppose it's the fact the ball goes so far and you if you hit a perfect drive it appears effortless.

Also the short game is a bit of a chess game needing brains and cunning as well as technical skill.

Playing my 1st. round of the year this Sunday which I can't wait for.

I used to play a lot of golf when I lived in the UK and was also Captain of the club at one stage. I think it's a great game but it is very time consuming and addictive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very time consuming is right,my problem was playing too much I think.Got to be much of a routine-work all week then golf sat/sun with travel there and drink after it's 5-6 hours each time.
Then there's the near £1000 green fees and all the other spending, got halfway through last year and job situation was iffy so decided it would be time to call it a day for a while, though will still play once or twice a month now we're into Spring.
