Any good cycling around Wickford, Essex

I'm going to Wickford for the weekend. The wife will be picking me up from work to head straight to Essex, so I will have my cycle with me, and want to go out for a bit of a ride in the morning, somewhere in the region of 25-35 miles on Saturday morning. I don't know the area as I've never been. Does anyone know a good route to ride around? Alternatively, does anyone want to join me for a ride? My normal pace is around 14-15mph depending. However, I can manage 16-17 if I'm in a group, just don't expect me to keep those speeds if I'm on the front.

The roads around Stock, Margaretting, Great Baddow, Danbury, West, East & South Hanninfield and back to Wickford should be a pleasant ride.

I've no idea of distances and time taken, but it was my old stamping ground 45+ years ago when I was a nipper, when time and distance didn't matter.
