If so, what do they call you/how do they address you ??
Reason for asking........
I have 3 grandchildren and they all call me granddad** (probably a few other names when I'm not listening ).
My eldest one and partner are discussing having a child which would be my great grandchild.
I am wondering what this child would/should call me
**funny story.......the eldest, when a little boy couldn't pronounce granddad and I became gwandrad. The 2nd one learned of him, then the 3rd. 30 years later and they still jokingly refer to me as gwandrad.

Never knew my Great Grandad, but I used to call one of my granddad's, "Pop".

Our grand children likewise, never knew our parents, but one of them was known as "Gaga", by our daughters.

I'm not a great grandad yet but, I'm surprised given my eldest granddaughter is 21 and in a long term relationship. I was brought up to call my great grandad, great grandad apparently, I was about 5 or 6 when I lost both of them. My great grandma's were always called great grandma's so I'm expecting the same to be honest. The thought of being a great grandad at nearly 60 isn't appealing though.

I am a great grandad, we attended her christening yesterday, too young to call me anything yet but I expect it will be great grandad, all the grandchildren (7 of em) call me grandad.

Is she a slow learner then
