Do a general internet search on Giant Defy, go into images page and look for it. Click on the pic and hopefully.....works for me more often than not.

Looking at Google images, the nearest looks to be a Giant Defy 3 from around 2013/14. List price around £700 from new.

The one in your pic says GIANT vertically on the frame though, which I can't seem to find on Google images, though it may depend on the angle of the photo. This is a US pic of a similar bike to your pic, but in a different logo colour.

One thing i noticed in the picture is that it looks like the bike has thumb shifters not sti.
I had a giant defy 4 triple 2013 with thumb shifters and i think that might have been the last year giant put them on their bikes.

It’s definitely aluminum framed, I think it’s 8 speed double, so looks like a Claris groupset, if you have another picture that shows the top of the seat tube, just at the joint with the top tube there’s two stickers, one with the size the other with the model

Normally there’s a sticker on the frame saying which model. Seller not know?

I’d go with 2012 Defy 4, 2300 groupset

Defy on seat tube, silver cranks, black chain rings, 8 speed double

I'd say Defy 3 . This was at the time when Defy's had 5 in the range and then 2 carbon defy's . Then there where the carbon TCR's 3 in total if i recall . It all changed when they brought in the Propel range , they re badged everything and renamed others to get the propel at a higher price point .
Just my take on it .
