I am also intrigued by all the tools labelled for use on turnips. Turnips must have been very popular and tough in those days.![]()
Can't tell how big or small the spiked collar is, but probably for a calf to stop it suckling.
The notes on tools on that website indicates it is "sucking cow protective".
