I was on a skateboard on what was supposed to be a cycle path but they had it dug up and put all traffic, pedestrians and wheeled users in one lane separated by a few cones and a line on the road. Idiot came around a corner through the cones and then me, hit and run.

Did this happen 'Back in the day' (I hate theat phrase.......) as it were, or recently like last week say? details please..... we need to judge whether you should have known better

Made a school boy error earlier.........

We were in 'The Range and little-un was looking at the skateboards (£4.99..... bargain!!!!) and I said he could have one at the weekend if he had a fiver in money box......... Without checking with Mrs V first ....... DOH............

We came to an agreement he can have one for next birthday when he's 8

It was when I was 19 and at the peak of my skating. I didn't go anywhere on foot if I could help it and living in Bristol we had a thriving street skating scene.

Well I haven't got any better, but I did drop in on a straight ramp for the first time ever yesterday. There's video evidence on Facebook. The triumph was slightly belittled by the fact my daughter has been able to go down that ramp for weeks

I mashed my ancient deck, so I'm going to buy a new one
