Any recommendations on winter thermal jacket?

What are the sizing like? Am usually a medium in normal clothes.

I'm not at home tonight but will check the gilet size tomorrow when I get home (it fits perfectly, as a slim fit)

I wear a Paramo jacket with their Nikwax Analogy fabric. It's marketed as a breathable waterproof but the lining they use for the breathability does make it easily warm enough in the winter I find, as long as I wear sensible layers (merino base layer or cheap Decathlon ski thermal top is usually sufficient, with a fleece added if it's really bitter). Mine is not cycling specific but has a dropped tail as it's for climbers etc who might be bent into similar positions as cyclists and need cover there, but they have cottoned on and created cycling specific models. I got mine from their eBay seconds shop as they can be a bit pricey otherwise. You need to wash it and reproof it with their products once every few months but that's it (I've got some grease down one arm that won't come out but I think that would be stuck on any other jacket too).
