I am still using old 195 cm Salomon Force 9 trapezoid skis fitted with Fritschi touring bindings. I have tried carvers and althought they turn effortlessly I found them disconcertingly unstable in the schuss. So I want to find an "all mountain" ski, which will give me a good rewarding bounce out of the turns, is reasonably stable in the schuss yet has some of the turning ability of a modern carver. Oh, and can be used with climbing skins.
