I'm fed up with the ones I normally read:
  • The main two Melbourne papers are both anti-cyclist (although naturally they'd strenuously deny it), and there's only so much hate I can stomach before it starts getting to me.
  • The Guardian seems to be run by feminists, and while I support equality of the sexes, this news site seems to have a knack of writing articles that imply I should be ashamed of being male.
So are there any new news*** sites out there worth switching to?

*** Is that a valid expression? It just sounds a bit tautological, for some reason.

Sadly online news is even more biased and opinionated than the "old" print regulars.

The BBC isn't immune, but I use that and apply filters to anything with an opinion in it.

not sure if it works on normal PCs but on mobile devices, whether android or fruit-based, I can recommend "flipboard" which is an app which gathers together / aggregates stuff your interested in. Don't bother with cycling as an option, but physics, politcs etc all good.
