Thanks to another forum member, I've been pointed to a very nice price on the Moon XP500 at http://www.woollyhatshop.com - has anybody had any shopping experience with them?
+1, had a fair few bits from them via ebay. Always delivered in good time and never had any issues. They're regarded as one of the good guys of internet trading IME
Yes, and it was a good experience. I think it was a new chainset for my MTB and a couple of other bits and pieces. The chainset was cheaper than buying just the rings I needed elsewhere.
Last week I bought a couple of cheapie MTB tyres from WHS. When I inflated one upon fitting it the side wall popped and the tube bulged out. I photographed the damage and contacted WHS who immediately sent out a replacement tyre. I offered to return the duff tyre for examination but was told to scrap it.
I have made several purchases from WHS and this is the first problem I have encountered, and I was very pleased with how they dealt with it. How shops deal with problems is how I judge them and in this case top marks to WHS.
Nearly bought new cassette from them through Amazon but CRC had 50% off a similar model. Their ratings looked good, but i thought it weird that they seemed to sell wooly hats, gloves and drivetrain parts.
