Is being told on not just the past tense of someone grassing you up?

My tellings off generally depend on how many "things" the parents needs me to do for them, so the larger the list, the less the tellings off. I don't have a partner for other tellings off. Small people generally just get looked at with an eyebrow raised if they attempt that sort of thing....
I am, however, going to the Doc's soon so I will most likely get a telling off about something there.
I didn't get a telling off when Dad was driven in the flipperty gibbert yesterday which surprised me....
Oooh I did get told off for not getting my eyebrows waxed by a friend
My small people say "I am telling on you" to each other
