Never been either.....and now that I am living on a miniscule pension I won't be going anytime soon. Lol. To be honest, it doesn't bother me as I am a definite home bird anyway plus having pets that I am too soppy to consider putting in kennels/cattery.

Furthest afield I have been is Cornwall and North Wales
Your alright Mo for us Scots that counts as abroad.....

My dad has never been off the British mainland and has never had a passport in all his 86 years.... my mum left him after 41 years marriage because she got fed up trying to get him to go - she wanted to start exploring the world!

My daughter's boyfriend is 24 and also doesn't have a passport... the parallels aren't lost on us!

Been abroad once , had a bad experience on flight home and sorry to say it put me right off and never did it again.

Good job it wasn't on the flight out otherwise you'd still be 'there'!

My best man (I was his best man) and lifelong friend has never been abroad, we holiday with him & his wife in this country but he is just not interested in going overseas.

I imagine that wars were the first and only overseas trips for many people, Trafalgar, Waterloo, Crimea, etc. etc. etc.
Sadly the same in recent times for our young men sometimes women.

N.I - Afghanistan - Bosnia - Falklands - Gulf/Desert Storm - etc etc.

17 - 19 year olds etc who never even got to go to Faliraki/Ibiza.
