Excluding apple, there aren't really that many. Mini was pretty ubiquitous for a few years then replaced by the faster micro, but a few purposes were still using mini until a couple of years ago, notably digital cameras and bike lights. I've got a 15 year old Canon that uses the same cable.

The distinctly superior micro still has it's faults, and so necessarily but annoyingly it is gradually being replaced by USB-C. So we will all again soon be stuck with a bunch of obsolescent cables.
