I have picked up a pump from a road in North Hampshire this morning. Anybody want to claim it?

I found a smartphone on the pavement once. I checked to see if it was working (it was) and then just left it there anyway. Smartphones make idiots and I should have shooted on it

I found a tenner by the roadside in Chievening on my way to Star Hill once.

I found £60 next to the Tesco Express next door to Penge Angling once, when I was on the dole.

My family appreciated being fed.

Personally if I lost a tenner, I'd think myself stupid and careless and hope that whoever finds it would appreciate and make good use of it!

OK I've changed it. I thought it was a general word for the less than brightest of folks as opposed to a disparaging term for certain group of people.

I found £25 in the street outside my house a while ago. The Chinese takeaway it paid for was very tasty.

When I found that £60 I did think about taking it to Penge police station (still open at that time).

Then I figured that all I'd be doing is boosting the Met's Christmas Drinks Fund, and that my need was greater than theirs.
