Once through the Airline style security checks, and the walk to the shuttle bus pick up point, I thought the building was pretty spectacular. The racing was good, even better when the GB girls and then the boys posted very fast times, the girls just pipped by the Canadians, and the boys pipped by the Aussies. The couple of downsides were the price of the beer. 330cl, £4.20. A bit extortionist, even for a captive audience, and the it took an hour to get from the 'drome to the station at Stratford. There was a long wait to get back on the shuttle busses outside the Velodrome which i think needs to be looked at for the rest of the meeting. A good evening even so. Anyone else's thoughts?
