Anyone Else Have Problems with Rust?

Not sure if this is a common problem or not, but quite a few of the bolts on my Bianchi have already started rusting and the bike is less than a year old.

My bike is usually an over-greased mess.

It is doused in bike spray, laden with grease and sodden with oil - I can handle a grubby bike but I hate rusty bits.

Change the bolts.

Dab a little grease or vaseline on the bolts after cleaning the bike.

Cotton buds are great for bolts with a squirt of gt85.

Not been very diligent with the bike cleaning this past 4 months, its just been too cold. The bike has often been put away wet and dirty, and on a couple of occasions I even used a fine spray hose on the bike. Guess I deserve to have some cycle chat trophies deducted :-(

Replacing the bolts with alloy or titanium and cleaning with an ultrasonic jewlery cleaner when they are removed for any routine maintenance was the was forward for me.

Wire brush........... scrubby scrubby! So long as it is surface rust, don't worry.
