We've been rooting for them to lose ever since they first appeared. He's the worst, but the rest are almost as bad. Peterhouse is the natural home of obnoxiously smug self-satisfied right-wing historians, an unspeakably large number of whom become politicians.

I predict that the chap on the left will become something in the city, the naus will become a cabinet minister and complain that Gove was too liberal, their captain will become his wife and the chap on the right will disappear into obscurity.

I quite like some of his sarcasm and snide comments, but although he dismissive of someone not knowing Dickens he fairly regularly judges science answers wrong when they've simply given alternative name. Eg "which power of ten is such and such?" "a thousand". "no I was after 10 to the 3". He might know his English lit, but really should know a thousand is ten cubed.

Still, it's the show I make a ppint of watching
