I'm on there as SharkyBloke and have just installed TweetDeck to my machine.... still no real clue as to what Twitter is useful for, can someone enlighten me??

People use it all sorts of ways. I'm not a fan of the "I've just eaten my brekkie" type of post, so I try and follow people who point out progress on projects I'm interested in, or blog/web stuff I might have missed. There's lots of bike stuff on there (VeloNews, Carlton Reid from BikeBiz, David from the fredcast, even goo_mason )

all new to me too but some interesting things on there and a good way to keep up to date with things people you interested in.

jsut working it all out now, ie how to use it from my mobile but the tweetdeck looks good

I don't rate tweetdeck at all, tries to do too much, and takes up a lot of processor power etc...

I prefer Twitterfox, much simpler...

Yes, Sharks - it basically allows you to tell the world you've passed wind - that type of thing...

I get your drift though...
