Greetings....
anyone familiar with Stockholm? Need to find somewhere to stay for 1 night in August, 2 adults 3 kids... ideas welcome!
Cheers

You know I know Stockholm, Fnaar!

There's this:

http://www.hotelformule1.com/formule1/fichehotel/gb/for/3065/fiche_hotel.shtml

It's basic but simple and clean, with an adequate breakfast and not too far from the city centre.

What's your budget? I can find some more for you.

Thanks Dayvo ... will look through the links later when I get a mo'...
Budget = the cheaper the better, without sleeping under a bridge or sharing a room with tramps! It's just for 1 night, before an early morning ferry to Finland....

@Dayvo, on a related note, how did you go about learning Swedish?

I studied Scandinavian languages at UEA Norwich (Norwegian being my main language). Moved to Stockholm after graduating (my then girlfriend came from there) and improved by immersing myself in the language.

Norwegian, Swedish and Danish are similar to how English, Scottish and Irish would be if the latter two languages were written as they were spoken!

They aren't difficult to learn; far easier than French, German and Spanish.
