I opened my car boot earlier to find it sat on the rear bumper, dragging it's rear end along.

I put it on a leaf under some bushes at the side of the car park and it's wings were flapping like mad, but it wouldn't take off as it seemed to be stuck to the leaf.

Just come back now and it's gone, hopefully flown away on it's own.

Seen lots of damage from them as they live in the middle of a young tree then the Woodpecker comes along and bores a big hole in it to get at it. Then the top of your nice tree falls over. Then people ask your advice and you say Leopard moth, then they stare at you like your taking the piss, and charging them for it. Never seen an adult though, so well done.
