Tame? It's about putting what is by common consent probably the single most verbotten word in the language on prime time 'family viewing' tv. That's 'tame'?

Can someone tell me what the actual gag is please?

Clarkson points out that the letter on the reg plates of the other two (which are the old three letters, three numbers, one letter type), form anagrams of innocuous words which are slightly appropriate to the presenter - 'Gosh' was May's one, I forget the other.

Then the camera pans back and reveals Clarksons car, and the letters are an anagram of a very rude four letter word.
