Bidding can go potty on genuine Klein bikes. The Retrobikes boys go very moist over them.
They were lovely! Serious money back in the early '90s.
I suspect the fact they were rich persons' toys back then means a lot of them won't have suffered too much abuse. I'd be wary of buying a 25 year old aluminium bike if it had been used for anything approaching 'proper' mountain biking!

The brand rather lost its gloss when they were convicted for dumping paint products in the local stream.
Also stupidly complex (and eternally stiff) headsets, stupidly expensive and fugly. If what you wanted was large diameter alu - Cannondale kicked Klein's ass on VFM
I'd take a Fat Chance, Ibis or a Ritchey or a virtually anything else from that era over a Klein every time.
