Sorry. My German sporting vocabulary only covers golf and does not extend to cycling. The general principle seems to be that, contrary to British treatment of Mediterranean types, you don't actually just add an "o" to the end of English words in the hope of being understood. I believe a bike is a "Rad", and a cyclist is a "Radler". You can expect any bike components and cycling related words to be enormous long compound words made by sticking other words to the end of that. Trust me. It works, mein liebe Radlerkamarad.
