Never used one myself but if it facilitates your riding go for it malcermie

I don't worry about extra weight but it and other things are just something else to go wrong/ rattle in the wind a simple look over the shoulder is more effective for me but if it facilitates your ridingThe one I use is tied to the down tube and I look through it by moving my right leg away. I must admit, I don't see many cyclists with mirrors round here. All the posh cyclists with posh bikes have minimum equipment on their machine I noticed. They must be worried about a few extra weight in grams I suppose which may reduce their average speed by .0005 mph , oh dear!
Only when touring abroad as I cant for the life of me look over my left shoulder.
I too had the Bike-eye one and didn't really get on with it, any kind of large saddle bag/panier rendered it pretty much useless, this is much better and almost rattle free.I had a bike eye but didn't get on with it, I quite like the look of this, I had a cat eye mirror which fitted in the bar end, but I didn't like that as it kept getting knocked when lent against walls. Could you flip it 180 degrees so the mirror was directly under the bars and position the mirror so you could still see behind you? Does it get in the way much if you were to lean it against things?
Glad I'm not the only oneDo you reckon it's all those years cycling in the UK?
You could use a bullet camera that has a separate recording unit with an LCD, the camera pointing backwards and the LCD on your handlebars.I,v toyed with this problem of rear view , it occured to me if you fitted a helmet cam facing back ,- say to the seat post- with a screen on your handlebar you would have a continouse view behind.
I don't suppose anyone knows of someone who does these ?
I,ve got one of those mirrors that clip low on the frame , but thier not much good, you have to cock your leg to see you can't just quick glance to check.
Only when shavingDoes anyone use a mirror to see behind? The years have taken their toll on my neck and I have yet to find a safe way to look behind me, just can't turn far enough, tried looking over my shoulder and under my arm neither is very satisfactory, so I am thinking of a mirror,
