Anyone waiting for a Canyon?

I'm on the notification list for a Canyon SLX 8 Di2, there were due 24th Aug but now the date has slipped to 21st Sept - 02 Oct. I'm not holding my breath for that date either.
They're also on a first come first served basis so not guaranteed to get one either, it's not possible to put a deposit down to reserve one you have to just buy when available.
Bit of a pain but as long as my current bike is fine(it is aside from wheels getting worn) then no urgency apart from I want to get a new shiny bike. Months of hot dry weather and no doubt I'll get it at start of the monsoon season....

which model are you after as you don't say?
Anything in their Outlet that fits the bill?
Often they're just bikes people have returned or have a minor paint defect.

I did, Canyon SLX 8 Di2 I should have added Endurace. So complete title is Canyon Endurace SLX 8 Di2.

I want one in Atlantic Blue which again is a longer wait!

Checked Outlet, nothing of interest there. Canyon are a bargain, get excellent bang for your buck and the bikes are good. However, stock has historically been an issue. If they have the one you want in your size then great. My current Endurace was in stock and it arrived 5 days later from Germany but I've also heard horror stories of endless waits as timeframe slips back and back.

I was just wondering if anyone else is waiting.

SLX8 Di2 is just a level not a model - eg there's an Aeroad, and Endurant and an Ultimate each in the SLX8 Di2 level!

Great bikes, I'm on my third Aeroad, also have an Ultimate, and son used to have an Endurance.

I did in post above however just checking Canyon site if I wanted an Ultimate(I don't) that too is out of stock until Sept. The Aeroroad is avaible but I don't want one of those.
I could of course buy from another manufacturer and I was all set on a Pinarello X7 but the spec is worse and over £2k more(!).
Trek have just brought out Domane 5 which looks nice but they've done away with downtube storage which on the new Canyon looks superb and really useful.

Anyway, unless I get fed up waiting I'll hold on for now.

Have you had a look on ebay from some of the 'companies' selling hardly used bikes. Coventry Bespoke Cycles seem to have a load of nice stuff.
That is unless you've 'bought' the bike.

If you want a specific colour you can be in for a bit of a wait with Canyon. I was on a wait list for a few months for a particular model/colour back in 2024, but it was okay as I didn't think I was in a hurry at the time - while I was looking to replace what was then my main bike, it was still rideable so I could hang on.

But then I suffered a significant mechanical issue on the old bike which would have been a few hundred pounds to fix and not really wanting to do that (preferring to put that money towards the new bike), I had to pull the trigger and ordered the Canyon bike in boring black, which was in stock and had been all along. Got it five days later and have been very happy with it since.

As it turns out, the colour I did want did not come back into stock in my size for another two months after my purchase and I would never have been able to wait it out that long.

Yeah I'm same. I don't want black or white which seems very popular but boring to me. The Atlantic Blue looks lovely though so I'm waiting for that.
My current 9 year old Endurace still fine although wheels getting worn(rim brake) and I dented rim on ride on Saturday on front so I've had to put on an old one for now.
A mate of mine is a Canyon fanatic, he's got 6 different models inc the latest Endurace SLX 9 which is in stock in white but I don't need such a high spec and I don't want white.
