Spelt wrong I thought it was funny, wouldn't mock people normally but in a supermarket it's not too much to expect the assistants to be able to spell!

I think all forms of spelling and punctuation mistakes that make it as far as signage should be punishable by death. If you are taking the bother to write something in big letters for many people to see at least check it beforehand and if you're not sure then ask a grown up. Errors in texts, emails or forum posts are fine. They are a completely different form.

Fair enough,if they can't spell certain words,but why not let someone who can spell correctly write the sign out instead?

Edit....It must be a family type one, as the sign would've been a printed one if it was one of the big chains.
