Thought this final was good, although not a classic it really showed the technical skill of defensive play. Glad the aussie won, he deserved it. Great story as well, coming over to England with a cue in his hand and £500 in the bank.

They showed the 1985 final between Steve Davis and Dennis Taylor......On tv tonight....although I didn't watch it I remember the first time round...was it really all those years ago?

25 years ago - I use the black ball final as a reference to remember which wedding anniversary ....
