Soggy Saturday in Sothern Scotland, sufferin' succotash.
So that puts to bed options.

Opt for coffee

Choose coffee. Choose a double shot. Choose a ceramic mug, a travel flask, a French press, and a fancy milk frother you never use.

Choose good beans, single-origin roasts, and fair-trade grinds. Choose digital kitchen scales to measure your dose to the tenth of a gram. Choose fixed morning routines. Choose a pastel-toned pour-over cone. Choose wondering why you are shaking and irritable at 9:00 AM on a Monday.

Choose sitting at that kitchen counter scrolling through your phone, gulping scalding liquid into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, crashing hard from caffeine dependency, nothing more than an embarrassment to the non-coffee drinkers who somehow manage to have natural energy.

Choose your future. Choose caffeine... But why would you want to do a thing like that? You chose not to choose coffee. You chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got a chemical addiction?

Traditional Saturday lie in done and brekky consumed. Into town for supplies procurement, sort puncture on commuter bike, spot of sim racing, then following the F1 and footy.

Back from ride, got rather wet and now having another cup of tea!
Hot tub is heating up for later, dinner is as yet an unknown.

Evening all. Managed to only get mildly damp out on the ride, managed 2 coffee stops as well. Now slobbing at home still feeling every nettle sting I got on the ride.
