Apple Mac Airport

For some reason, my Macbook's Airport has stopped picking up the ip address on my BT wireless hub automatically. However, if I put the ip address in manually, it connects to the internet.

Any ideas as to what the problem is? It has just started to happen today?

have you logged into your router (bt hub) to check if dhcp is enabled presumably it was prior to today that should be your first port of call as the wireless appears to be working

My flatmates computer, and his Iphone, works perfectly. That's what's confusing me.

Will it be the router?

Unlikely to be the router if your flatmates is working without issue and if it was the wireless you wouldn't even connect so that must be working properly - I'll take a look at my sons airbook see if I can see anything as Im not familiar with Macbooks Im wintel/unix person and not done a lot with macos or leopard or whatever they call it now
