Is there a technical term for holes in buildings like the Dragon's Hole in Hong Kong?

I don't think so. It's a feng shui thing isn't it?

The Manhattan Lofts building going up at Stratford is double cantilevered which I think is something to do with being jewish? The building goes up, then in for a bit, then up again. There's a space like an angry giant has taken a bite out of the building. Sorry if I'm being too technical.
