Are Brompton 'limiting' the Brompton name on Temu?

whether the sellers are trying to 'pass them of' as genuine or not (I haven't looked in detail)
I think that's what you get with the likes of Temu and Ali Express. I've seen Boss t-shirts on Temu for 12 quid; they don't quote Boss in the description but they clearly say Boss on the t-shirt in the same colour and lettering as the original which would cost £75. It stil seems to be rather unregulated. Perhaps it is such a cheap copy that it could be argued you'd never take it for a genuine item

Harley's are shite quality. Total rubbish.

Very true, they’re shocking

IIRC Temu are chinese owned and registered in the Cayman islands so as a practical matter theres not a lot some relative backstreet pisswilly little outfit like Brompton could do to a juggernaut likenthat.

If anything individual vendors may be showing some circumspection, but more likely to avoid tripping over the fraud laws of any jurisdictions they sell to rather than anything Brompton is likely to do,

A friend of mine bought a new Road King. The paint was beautiful, deep and lustrous, but every painted item was a slightly different shade to its neighbour...

Its an insult really for what they charge.
