No generally OK, no issues. Most of what you say is coming from youngsters though.... I had a kid weaving about in front of me a couple of weeks ago - told him to do one, then he starts to 'race me' but ends up almost getting flattened by a van...I had to laugh about it ! (PS the van driver saw him then let the kid have it with the horn)

I have definately noticed an increase, and have had several incidents myself.

And yes I wear lycra! Sometimes attracts admiring glances from the girls, until they get level and realise their oggling an old man.

I have a nice ass even if i say so myself lol

In 10 years of regular cycling (not in lycra but in cycling specific clothing) i've only once had something thrown at me by chavs...no verbal, no out and out idiotic behaviour...nothing really.

Going past a childrens playground being used by older lads, got two leather footballs thrown at me. One hit me but stayed on my cycle. Wasn't expecting that! Being Belfast I suppose I should be grateful that it wasn't something more solid or inflamable!!

Anyway, i'm bound to be a bit slower than most. I still ride my Grifter that my parents got me when i was ten. Ok i've put slicks on it. Thats helps.

I cycle to keep fit.........As i'm a fitness fanatic.
