England : Cheshire are there any small CC groups riding around Knutsford ?

Went for a trip that way this morning, I can see what you mean about the Tatton wall stretch. Fortunately there were a LOT of cyclists out and I tagged into an ad-hoc pelaton that had formed along that stretch. .. I hadn't driven Mill lane into Ashley before (coming from the tunnels) as I was flying down the hill I had this horrid feeling "I've got to go back up this in minute, I hope it's gentle" .. lowest gear on the climb but I made it ! (I see what they mean about the Carrera TDF gearing now)

What type of speeds you guys going to go at?

I average around 16mph on the flat depending which way the wind is blowing

I'll start a new thread " CC Knutsford and Tatton" so people can post their planned rides etc.

i often warm up by riding to knutsford via one of several routes so happy to link up at some point and eg head out manc airport and round back.

will be a long ride for me!
