Are there many different categories of cycle racing going on?

This is the very thing I was thinking of. I think it's a bit of a loss that this sort of thing isn't more widely known so that it might attract commercial sponsorship and thus advance the cause of more efficient ways of getting about under our own steam as it were. That said i do very much enjoy using the conventional configuration of the bicycle and would't want it to be replaced, just to have other things along side it.

That's because I've bollocksed up the links- I'll go back and repair them.

No rush, I've googled them. Tin can ten seems to be located in my area in Leicestershire. As is the speedway. I've been past the speedway track a few times but it's not really my thing. I'm very pleased that it's there though. I wasn't sure that it was actually being used as I've never seen a soul there but turns out it is at the hub of the european championships, so thanks for the info.

Yes, it looks quite hard on equipment. No high speed crashes but there seems to be a lot of argy bargy goes on.
