No. Every year we would have our only bet on the national but last year my wife and I decided after the death the two horses were not subscribing to this any more wont be watching it either probably be out have a nice family day.
 
Wasted a fiver on Seabass. I will never listen to my mother-in-law's tips again.

Did anyone else think the Channel 4 commentary was very poor?

One of the guys who did the middle of the race had a bit of an idea, but the rest were woeful.

The best horseracing commentators pick up the rhythm of the race, as well as the atmosphere, excitement, and at the same time keep us informed.

Channel 4 did hardly any of that.

One example: Sea Bass was the big unfolding story, but the horse was barely mentioned in the final furlongs.

I assumed it was further back, but we should have been told of its progress.

The pictures weren't too clever, either.

The director dallied on the final fence which means we missed the eventual winner's sprint just after it.
