I don't have a garden!

I do, however, have a small back yard and until recently it was being used as a local cat toilet which certainly didn't make me happy! I took to screaming at the cats and spraying bleach about the yard which kind of put them off. The woman next door put them off using her back doorstep as a toilet by spraying them with orange juice every time she caught them doing it. The man down the road took even more extreme action - he used a cat-apult on them! That sorted out the cat problem in the backstreet.

I went out by my front door today (the first time in months because I normally use the back door) and I discovered that the little bastards have been going round the front instead!!! There were about 20 separate piles of cat crap there next to the door!

Hmm currently not, £ 1500 bill to repair car is going to make Christmas very difficult

Yes. The autumn leaves are stunning now and the weekend was crisp, cold and clear. I spent most of it carving out what will be a very large vegetable garden from an even larger lawn and making shelves. My wife had her baby shower and we were overwhelmed with thoughtful gifts from our lovely neighbours. Then we shared a drink and some great food with friends. I miss friends in the UK of course, and there's some I am thinking of in particular right now... but moving here was the best thing we could have done.

Yup really happy at the moment, uni is going well, was given 3 tickets to go and watch England play the Aussies at Twickers on the 7th and 4 members of my local side (Northampton Saints) were selected for the England squad today!
It's also Halloween this weekend which means a quality house party

I vary between happy and very happy and mostly contented as well.

I have a good life, a good job and a good home. I have a great, small circle of friends to spend time with and past times that I love doing.

I also have next to no money and debts all over the place but I am able to keep paying them off so all is well enough.

I have very little to complain about and very little to want for.

And to cap it all, first night tonight and it was a really good show.

Would have said 'yes', but settled for 'mostly am' as I don't like the clocks changing. Its too dark cycle after work and so its back to weekends only again ;)

Don't let the dark stop you cycling.

I have a 10 mile commute on unlit country lanes with a bit of NSL A road thrown in and I intend to continue cycling to work 4-5 times/week.

Good health:

Good girlfriend:

Good job:

Good economy:

Poor social life:

Good plans and prospects:

I'm happy with my lot!

Give us a bell one night this week, yer bell-end ;), and we'll have a beer. Back in Oslo weekdays after work 8.30-9.00pm. Say, wednesday? Not saying its going to improve either of our social lives - two miserable gits huddled over a pint (corr. 400ml) of Ringnes - but it'll be nice to put a face to the witty comments before you head off downunder.

Mostly happy. I have a job I mostly enjoy and I'd be happy to go for a beer with most of my colleagues.
I've just got in from a Chinese and rather too much wine with my Dad, who's had some serious medical problems lately but seems to be doing OK.
And I've cycled 14 miles in the dark this evening ;) Yay! for Tescos 3W LED torches!!!
