Are you the rightful king/queen of your family?

In our house I am fifth in the pecking order, and there are only four of us.

Could be worse, I have known families where the pets are higher up in the pecking order than even the main income earner. Also seen kids displaced over pets.

Both parents did not inherit anything so no hierarchy or norm to follow. Everyone was an equal. So we kids made our way in life

There are a number of people standing between me and the Throne of the United Kingdom. That number is quite large.

I was clearly the King in our house Saturday night
We had the grandkids staying over while their parents went to a wedding

Baby decided that sleeping was not something that is necessary and only his Pops (i.e. me) would do

so I got about 1 hour of sleep spread between 5 and 7 in the morning

Then all 3 of them wanted me to play with them all day

Being King is not all it is cracked up to be

EDIT - and I have absolutely no genetic connection to any of them - their Dad was in his 30's when I met his Mum!!!
I must sit them down and explain genetics and inheritance to them!!!!!
