That's the only reason I have several cards, to protect myself from foul-ups self inflicted or otherwise.

Try a piece of dry tissue over the card when in the wallet.

The first time I went to Japan I only had one card which I didn't think was too clever although I got away with it.Now when I go away I always have more than one card.

Anyone know what has happened here as i noticed some of the cable coming apart so i have pushed the cable back in but its stratched round the hole is this due to it stretching.

As the title of this thread suggests that the day has arrived where i fell off the bike on a descent over a cattlegrid while i was scouting some of the route i will be doing on the sportive luckily the bike survived apart from another scratch was sure it had cracked.

I have had my s5 for almost 4 months but have had a problem since the begining when i change down to the smallest front chainring to climb hills the chain always seems to fall off and i just keep pedalling until i realise then quickly clip out before i fall and then i stop for 5 mins just to put it back on the smallest chainring. I have been out on it tonight for a short 20 miles and it has happened twice abd as you can probably tell that i am getting slightly p!$$ed off with it.

Is this a defect of the front derauiler, smallest chain ring or chain?

I passed my driving test on tuesday had my car a few months but couldn't drive it for obvosis reasons but i had the police come to my door last night due to apparently hitting another car in a supermarket car park when i parked with two spaces free either side of my car and now the third party has put a claim in for no reason due to no damage on my car and the officer also acknowledged that theres no damage.

The most common cause is that you have "wiped the card"

I remember a B&Q opening and had a magnet on the top of the desk to wipe the security codes.

There was a sudden increase in non working cards, and B&Q was the similarity

It turned out that people were eirther putting the card on the magnet when handing it over, or placing their wallet on it when entering the PIN

B&Q moved the magnets and the problem stopped overnight

I've just had a new card. Doesn't work in the ATM. Not put near a magnet by me. Fortunately, I have others and don't need that one in a rush. Have the Royal Mail started using big magnets in the sorting somehow? ;)

If there were magnets in your wallet, it would clear the magnetic strip, not the smart chip. You could maybe clear s smart chip with the sort of magnets they use in junk yards.
