thats what i have been told by 2 in the know on site. they said roy hodgson 2 days before it was announced and i laughed at then

Moyes won't go to Spurs, I'd like to think he's invested too much of himself at Everton to go chasing a big money opportunity. His fingerprints are all over Everton, his Dad's the chief scout, he has a good relationship with kenwright and let's face it he hasn't had a great deal of success with big money buys (for efc anyway). Fellaini's come good but you just have to look at the likes of Bilynetdinov, Beattie, kroldrup (remember him? not many non efc people would do). He shines at getting the very best out of players out to prove themselves and quick to jib off players that don't have the right attitude.

That and I'm just about getting myself back into shape to fit back into my Moyeseyside T-shirt...

Why on Earth?

Exactly - a manager who spends a lot of money for a crap team like Wigan and scapes staying up every year.

He's the biggest mystery in football management - a distinctly average manager to say the least, what have Wigan achieved since he arrived - nothing - yet he is revered as some sort of great manager.

Tottenham are a big club - I'd go for Moyes or Klinsman myself, or Capello or a big name.

that clip of him near the end of the season wide-eyed and shouting is the only reason he's considered a good manager as far as I can see. he's quite affable and knowledgeable but wigan have been just about surviving for some years, they're used to it.

I'd like to think you were right, but I reckon you're mistaken - although he might still be hoping for the Manchester United job.

Spurs are talking to AVB!
