I got a 4-in-1 scalp. Bizarrely meet 4 other commuters all stopped at the same set of lights. I was polite and took rear-gunner position, until they got going then passed and vanished.

Too easy.

I got scapled at the top of South Street in St Andrews by a student riding with reckless abandon towards the Archway which is one way and with just enough room for one car to pass under it.

Followed him down the street he elected to go through the arch against the flow of traffic, I decided to hop off and walk the few feet through the Arch using the pavement as I always do.

He did not make it to the other side of the arch, the front of a minibus prevented his progress. Not a very clever student.

I can't believe I am posting in this thread, being a newbie, but on the last push of the return leg of my regular circuit, I overtook a lady meandering haphazardly along the road (I had to warn her I was coming past as she was weaving along), and just ahead was her hubby towing one of those kiddy buggy things, and I went round him too!

He had cleats and my husband said he probably wouldn't have slept that night with the shame of being overtaken by little old me!!

So, a lady rider, her hubby all cleated-in, plus sleeping toddler - result!
