Well, off to Landaaan (small village at the end of the M4 in the opposite direction to Wales) this coming Saturday to catch the Astrophotographer of the Year 2017 at Greenwich Observatory. Beforehand though, I'll be dropping into Astrofest in High St Kensington. Then a quick tube ride to Westminster and getting on one of these canoes to Greenwich:

Anyone else been to or interested in APOY?. Fantastic free exhibition, well worth popping by.

Never much good at astro imaging myself but the images some of these astronomers stack are literally stunning. Enjoy.

Had a good time despite being a wet cold February day in the smoke. The 2018 exhibit opens later in the year and is moving down hill to the Maritime Museum to a bigger space as it's the tenth anniversary, so looking forward to that.

Anyone going to the current exhibit should spend a couple of minutes in the entrance to the planetarium as there are a few extra backlit images to see here that aren't in the main exhibition space. You can't see them all due to the ticket barrier, but worth a quick look.
