Ok so I wasn't on my bike at the time... I was working, but ended up with bloody sore back and couldn't ride home... Luckily he got charged with assualt police x4 and remanded in custody. Was really looking forward to my ride home too. Should be able to ride today, would have been really p'eed off if I was still unable to ride.

First is sometimes best, if you go in fast, by the time they react to it, it's the second or third one in who gets hit.... ?

I hope your back gets better soon & really, - admire your courage for going into these situations. My Dad was in the same job for 30 years & had some nasty moments.

Same here, my dad was a detective in London during the 70's and 80's, some of his tales are pure Sweeney. As a kid I had no idea the type of danger he was getting himself into.
