They are allowed to be angry. Smashing up your own city because someone else has bombed it is counterproductive wouldn't you agree?

On your other point, compare and contrast the numbers killed in ISIS attacks with the numbers killed in the Troubles, where both sides decided to be angry and lash out at each other.

I don't think venting their anger can be classed as smashing up their own city. As for the numbers killed by islamic terrorism. Yes so far it's "only" a few hundred in Europe compared to the two thousand or so over twenty five years who died in Northern Ireland, but they've only just started. Do you seriously think Islamic terrorism will end soon?

I don't have simple answers but I would encourage tolerance and understanding rather than hatred and division. How about you?

More importantly, how will the state and the media react? Will the state outlaw the groups they associate with and criminalise political viewpoints (as they have extremist Islamist groups)? Will the media refer to them as thick idiots, far right extremists or "disaffected youth"? Will resources be directed by the state towards tackling the causes of this disaffection?
