Winter's great. I enjoy my winter rides up North. I've arrived in Darlington more than once with thick frost on my woolly hat.

Decent clothing will keep you warm.

Based on the useless summers we've had recently and the 'unseasonal' warm weather early in the year, I tell myself nowadays that autumn starts in August so the good news is a) autumn is very nearly over and b) spring starts on 1st Feb! :becool:

I can't think of another fruit I dislike, but I've never been able to see the point of pomegranates. My parents used to get them occasionally, and I did try, but I can't recall ever managing to actually finish one. I just kind of...lost interest, half way through...

Beautiful ride in this morning. There was enough of a chill to keep the sweat off but I still had the joys of riding into the rising sun in short sleeves...

Now that pomegranates are freely available and cheap.
Three cricket ball sized pommies for £1 in CC Continental Supermarket in Chapeltown Road a moment ago, Vernon.

[@MDB, I have a basic eating approach. I cut them into quarters, the same as I would an orange, bend them slightly to lever most of the pith out of the way, and just eat everything else. Best done over the sink, mind you.]

I can't really remember how I ate them, all I know is that it was a complete faff. I'll have to remember your method for the future incidentally, thanks!

......The joke I made obviously was missed as I know you eat the seeds etc, but I said I removed them before..... Oh never mind!
