Had this a few weeks ago; the driver sounded his horn, so I expected him to squeeze through with me, it's the norm. But no, he went the other side. So very dangerous to oncoming traffic and pedestrians. What really got me is that it's a 20mph zone, and I was going at 20mph anyway, so I wasn't affecting his legal speed at all - would he have done the same thing if I was in my car doing 20mph?

This seemed really dangerous to me. An articulated lorry, very poor light. What if someone had been waiting to cross? What if a car came out of a side road/driveway on the opposite side of the road? The company did trace the driver from my video date and time, and he was dealt with to my satisfaction.

I'm beginning to agree with everyone that almost all cycle lanes are just rubbish and dangerous.

that's the worst one on my commute. A painted line on a left hand bend, which in itself doesn't seem that awful. But it lulls the unwary into a false sense of security. I had a woman cut across that while I was in it once, If I hadn't been leaning over slightly to turn she would have hit me, I'm sure. Now I take primary almost all the way up that street.

arent the first and second there for crossing the carriageway? you'd be mental to follow them going straight on ?

stops you waiting to turn right on a busy road ??
