I have the park tool one and it works very well - protects the axle whilst you work on it

Limited experience since I don't actually own one but on the Cytech 2 course the axle vices did make it very easy to set up wheel bearings.

2 bits of wood may work just as well.;)

For £11.50 it's got to be worth it.
Er thanks for the reply alicat, but not exactly an answer
Or do you run an online emporium of stuff all costing the magic amount of £11.50, which therefore just has to be bought?
Sorry if my reply sounds snarky.

Sorry if my reply sounds snarky.

The first link, the Park Tools AV1, costs £11.50. It wouldn't have been that hard to check which one I was referring to.

I have the Super B one and it's useful but I don't think I paid as much as the price stated in the link.

No, I don't have a website of stuff that costs the exact sum of £11.50.

Yes, your post does sound snarky @Blue Hills. I try to help when I can but I am not perfect. Next time you read a post of mine that you don't think is helpful, please just skip over it and move to the next.

Ta for the extra info alicat.

I didn't ask which one you were referring to, was clear, just wondered what you thought of them.
